Claire Soleil Gardner (They/She) is a Métis-Cree multi-disciplinary playwright, director, dramaturg, and performer with a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University. Based in NYC and the Northeast, recent work includes Zanj in “Into Your Hands” by Tomi Endter at the public theater, Selection for Native Voices Short play Festival 2025, resident of the inaugural cohort of the New to the Neighborhood Residency with What Will the Neighbors Say?, and The Kittie Knox Plays commissioned by Plays in Place. Claire is a proud Indigenous queer artist whose passion for history, education, and social justice are central to their work.
