playwright

I have always been writing and imagining stories, but my Playwriting training enabled me to find a medium that not only unleashes my imagination but allows it to be shared and interact with the imagination of my collaborators. My writing helps my Spirit survive as I explore how my gifts can be a medicine I use to heal. My art is inspired by the untold stories of Native American and First Nations history, and I am determined to face all the painful shadows and celebrate all the good medicine and healing it brings. I am especially interested in bringing 2Spirit stories to the stage. All my writing experiments with genre and I am very drawn to magical realism, surrealism, and heightened language.
